Synthetic Turf Fields Creating Lower Maintenance Costs?

Some may argue that replacing natural grass with synthetic sport turf is too costly. Although, there is initial expense with synthetic turf, yard maintenance can add up pretty quickly as well!  This is due to weekly mowing during peak months, irrigation during dry spells, and yearly fertilizing to keep it looking lush! It’s also eco-friendly because it drastically reduces carbon emissions from mowing, weed-eating, & edging!

Synthetic turf products generally have an 8-10 year lifespan; of course this depends on the application use, geographic location, amount of traffic, and maintenance up-keep.  Yes, synthetic turf does require maintenance, but it’s minimal compared to natural grass.
